LIFE Recovery Homes
"Living In Freedom Everyday"
WHAT WE OFFER
We offer safe and supportive housing for individuals seeking sustainable recovery and positive change. We also support many pathways to recovery that build on strengths to help develop resilience for men who are suffering with substance use disorder. We focus on a person's whole health and offer connection to other services as needed while offering support.
To provide safe, healthy and effective recovery residences that help facilitate sustainable, self-directed recovery with a compassionate yet structured environment, providing support to all who are seeking positive change for long term recovery.
This residence was founded by me, (Christy Foskey) and a few other supporters, who choose to remain anonymous. The need was there and we'd seen many who were struggling; either as returning citizens or in early recovery who had no transportation or housing conducive to recovery. So, we set out to provide housing, transportation, support and connection to supportive services to people seeking recovery and positive change. Our staff consists of CPS-ADs, (Certified Peer Specialist-Addictive Disease) CARES (Certified Addiction Recovery Empowerment Specialist) and a MAC (Master Addiction Counselor).
There are many different paths to recovery. They are unique as we are as individuals. We believe in self-directed recovery and we make every effort to ensure our residents are connected with any services they may need to assist them in advancing in their own path of recovery and on to wellness.
We provide housing, transportation and support for people experiencing SUD, co-occurring disorders and people utilizing MAR/MAT (Medication Assisted Recovery or Medication Assisted Treatment).
Matrix (Early Recovery Skills and Relapse Prevention) classes, Life group, Group Recovery check-ins, Individual Recovery Coaching and Check-ins, Drug Screening, Individual Substance Abuse Counseling, Progress Reporting, local educational network for GED, local Community Service Board for mental health needs, our local Recovery Community Organization, RiseUp and various other classes/workshops/organizations that are needed or beneficial to someone seeking recovery.
Our recovery-oriented system of care values diversity and recognizes the individual needs of each resident. We know that although sustainable recovery is the ultimate goal for each resident, there are other issues that may need to be addressed or resolved in order to help him reach his full potential. He may have legal, financial, and/or mental or physical health issues that may impede long term recovery. We are connected within the communities of recovery from mental health disorders and substance use disorder, medical community, educational services and have many contacts with the justice system.
